I tend to see PUSHING LIMITS on oneself is a form of self-improvement. But, you need to know if you have done enough on it and make sure you don't over-stretch.
Today, my 2nd child, Patrick skipped school (4th day of Primary One) after complaining being not well. I asked which part of his body. He pointed to his heart, stomach and basically everywhere. He had a dramatic crying scene just outside the class. Being an obedient and positive child in nature, I know he has pushed his limits. I suppose as parents, we can read their minds from their attitude (not during teenage probably).
So, I took his to my office and the moment we entered my room, he gave me the sweetest smile I ever see. Have a pushed his limits?

2009
For the past two weeks, I have been gathering info on market outlook for 2009 and the conclusion is Bad economically:
A banker said export has dropped.
A well-known local retailer said sales has dropped 30%.
A car seller said sales dropped.
A restaurant owner said less people eat out now.
A pub owner said business has dropped by 50%.
A coffee shop owner said sales is as usual.
My conculsion is if everyone cuts down their spending by 30%, of course local market will shrink by 30% and it has nothing to do with bad economy. So isn't it clear most of us have in fact over spent all this while? If you can survive now with 30% less then why not spend wisely?
But my urge to all, during this bad time due to external effect, do spend more in order to boost local economy.
Adios 2008 and Welcome to 2009!!! Happy New Year to all my blog readers and Wishing you more spending in 2009.
